We are firm believers that each of us has a role to play in combatting climate change. This propelled us to pioneer new farming methods that would certify us as carbon neutral. We wanted to find a solution to the carbon emissions released from avocado production and we wanted to inspire and engage consumers who are becoming increasingly concerned by the farming footprint.

So, our decision to become carbon neutral started in 2019 after discussions about how we could change the way we farm in the future. We engaged a Climate Active consultant to measure our footprint and to map out a plan to reduce our emissions. Our immediate action was to forward purchase carbon offsets for our forecasted emissions, which has allowed us time to implement our carbon reduction strategies.
